User Assignment

Pick the user from the drop down list. Based on the role assigned to the user, the "Access Level" will show the appropriate value.

Pick the new user from the list

The user is displayed with the Role that he has been assigned.

A user with 'ADMIN' role will see a value of 'ALL' in the Access Level. In the Access to drop down the admin will have only one value 'ALL'. It is not needed to assign individual groups,categories or dashboards to the admin.

A user with 'GROUP' will see a list of groups to pick from. You can assign multiple groups to a single user.

A user with 'RESTRICTED' role will see 'CATEGORY' and 'DASHBOARD' in the "Access Level" drop down.

For this user if you pick 'CATEGORY' in the "Access Level" then the "Access To" will show a list of available Categories to select from and if you select 'DASHBOARD' then the "Access To" will show a list of available dashboards.
